Smile More :)
One small and easy thing that you can do to improve your well-being is to smile! I know this sounds really simple but it works!
Science has found that smiling releases molecules to help fight stress. As well as releasing dopamine, serotonin, and endorphins which play a major part in our happiness. Science has also found it to help job performance by improving creativity and efficiency. Your smiling can also affect other people by improving their happiness.
I have personally been more intentional about smiling more the past couple weeks and have noticed a difference. Both when I am by myself and with others. I will smile when I finish meditation, when I start to feel down, when I look at myself in the mirror and when I am around others.
I challenge you to try and smile more for the next 7 days. Then notice if this has had a positive effect on you.
