Team Culture - Your Energy and Attitude Matter
Your company culture is the environment created by the people's attitudes, behaviors, and relationships within your organization.
This will significantly impact the business's performance/profitability, employee well-being, innovation, and retention.
There is a lot that goes into creating a successful and thriving company culture. One of the more under-appreciated elements is the energy and attitude of the leader. I often say that energy is contagious, especially when it comes from the leader.
That is why as a leader you need to be intentional about the energy and attitude that you show up with each day.

Energetic? Upbeat? Calm? Supportive?

Down? Agitated? Nervous?
For your attitude are you:
Confident
Growth minded
Grateful
Positive
Optimistic
Resilience
An important point to remember is that culture is dynamic. It is either improving or deteriorating every day. The energy and attitude you show up with each day contribute to which direction the culture heads.
Certain situations will require you to shift your attitude and energy. This is part of the art of leadership. A question to ask yourself is, "How does my team need me to show up today?"
